On April 30, 2019, DWR announced Basin Prioritization Phase 2 draft results for basins with modified boundaries. This announcement begins a 30-day public comment period to allow input from the public and local agencies.

On December 18, 2019, DWR announced completion of the Phase 2 Basin Prioritization, designating the Los Osos and Warden Creek Subbasins as very low priority.
